It has been a lovely weekend.

My brother in law – Ben, Emma’s brother – got married this weekend in a lovely location and with loads of great people around them. They had the legal bit done on Friday with immediate family present. It was a lovely little ceremony and clearly they were having fun:

On Saturday they had an official ceremony which everyone else came along to. It was on a remote beach which required people hiking for 30 minutes but the result was amazing:

The day was excellent. After the beach ceremony everyone made their way to the reception which involved sun, blue skies, scones with cream, pimms, a lovely meal with lamb and salads, great speeches and Scotish dancing. I have to admit to really enjoying myself (much more than I thought I would!) I have put more photos here.

It does feel weird though, by proxy I’ve now gained more family and a sister in law in law.
