Kiteboarding
Friday was great.
Tom and I headed out in the afternoon to soak up the rays, take in the scenery and have a sick session. Karl happened to turn up with a camera – good times!
I am feeling more comfortable on the 11m PD3 now and I’ve been trying to consolidate the various tricks I’ve learnt on various kites over the years onto this kite. So far it has been successful. I’m doing front and backside rotations, foot outs. The best trick I landed on Friday was a front-loop-down-loop-transition. Karl got the evidence and I decided to stitch the action into one photo:
Sunday was good – I spent the day with my sister Emily, her bloke Rob and Steve and Sarah. It was fairly low wind conditions but it allowed me to try some kite loops on the PD3. I even landed a backloop-kiteloop. I’m now looking forward to heading out later today, although it means a departure from the 11m PD3 and back out on the 8m GK Sonic.
It is nuking out there!
